Sungkyunkwan University's International Summer Semester (ISS) is a unique academic program dedicated to sharing and experiencing the fascinating story of Seoul, Korea's 600-year-old capital.

The 4 weeks program aims to develop students' global engagement by providing opportunities to share different perspectives on global issues, to make friends with various cultural backgrounds, and to explore Korea's history, culture, and people. Take advantage of the excellent program we offer. It will help you to expand your mind and change your world.

The Humanities and Social Sciences Campus of SKKU is located within the traditional city center of Seoul, one of Asia’s largest, safest and most dynamic cities. Seoul is home to some of Asia’s best universities, as well as a quarter of the entire Korean population.

The ISS offers various extra-curricular activities for the students to engage in cross-cultural interactions   (*subject to change):

     1.  Korean Food Festival
     2.  Mud Festival
     3.  Korean Folk Village Experience
     4. Old City Tour
     5. Lotte World
     6  Korean Spirit and Culture.
     7.  K-Pop Dance
     8. Samsung Museum of Innovation Tour

Program Period:

26 June 2017 - 20 July 2017 (4 Weeks)

Program Fee:

RM7500++ (USD 1700)
* Fee inclusive of tuition fee, activity fee, accommodation, airport transfer, & city tour)


1. Undergraduates of UTP
2. Students MUST be on SEMESTER BREAK during the programme period
3. Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or equivalent
4. Have usually completed at least one semester of undergraduate study
5. Knowledge of Korean Language is not compulsory
6. Eager to learn and experience different culture
